China's First Weber 9500 Slicing and Portioning Production Line Installed and Put into Operation
China witnesses the successful installation and commissioning of its first Weber 9500 slicing and portioning production line in a factory site in Shandong, marking the official launch of Weber's high-capacity, high-speed slicing technology in the Chinese market.
The configuration of this production line includes:
1. A highly accurate weSCAN model infrared scanner that initially outlines the contour of the raw material and confirms its density (with an optional manual input feature), subsequently transmitting this scanned data to the high-speed weSLICE9500 slicing machine.
2. The slicer portions the product accordingly (stacking or layering based on client specifications).
3. Following portioning, products pass through a multi-track weighing machine which relays weight information to the downstream rejection unit.
4. Products that meet weight standards proceed to the conveyor for further pre-formed tray packaging (the trays are automatically dispensed via a dispenser onto the product conveyor). Those not meeting the weight criteria are diverted to a separate belt via a rejection mechanism, where manual adjustments can be made before they are introduced back into the packaging machine.
Weber's innovative slicing technology offers customers not just fully automated production with high performance-to-price ratio and precision cutting, but also greater economic returns and minimized product waste, thereby enhancing their profitability.
