Elea's PEF Advantage System Installed and Put into Production by Lenno

On June 15th 2020, Elea's PEF Advantage System B1000 arrived at Lenno's customer in Hebei province. Lenno's engineers immediately went to customer's factory for installation and programming. This is another new PEF system put into use after the former systems installed in McCann and Simplot. Customer gives high evaluation to this PEF B1000 and very satisfied with the production output.


The Elea PEF systems are the ideal solution for treating tubers, roots, vegetables and fruits. The systems work by puncturing the cell membrane, to change the structure of production, and make products (such as sweet potato, potato, taro and other hard products) easier to cut and process, have been used throughout the potato-processing industry since 2010 and the PEF technology pre-treatment has become the standard worldwide due to its dramatic and positive changes to both product and process. The system is an energy-saving low-temperature process that replaces the need for blanching potatoes and other produce before cutting.
